Debby Newman, owner of The Swim Tutor, has been a swim instructor and competitive swim coach for more than 30 years. She began her swim career at Shawnee Aquatic Club in Portsmouth, Ohio. Debby continued her swimming career at Asbury University, where she started a summer club team, LPAC Swim Club, at the University her Junior year. She
Debby Newman, owner of The Swim Tutor, has been a swim instructor and competitive swim coach for more than 30 years. She began her swim career at Shawnee Aquatic Club in Portsmouth, Ohio. Debby continued her swimming career at Asbury University, where she started a summer club team, LPAC Swim Club, at the University her Junior year. She has coached and taught swim lessons over the years at various YMCAs and USA Swim Clubs in Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. Debby currently coaches multiple groups with the Mason Manta Rays to include the Champions (Warren County Special Olympics), Exploration (6&Unders), Imagination 1 (9&10s), and the Rec Rays (summer team). She is the Aquatics Director at Cincinnati College Preparatory Academy, where she runs the swim lesson programming for 325+ students in grades K-3. Debby is Certified in the Swim Whisperers Program Level 1.
Megan Yeaste has been a swim instructor and competitive swim coach for more than 4 years. Megan found her passion for swimming when she joined her neighborhood swim club at an early age. She continued to swim in middle school and made the Mason Manta Rays, a Gold Medal Swim Club in Mason, Ohio. In 2021, she decided to stop swimming and pu
Megan Yeaste has been a swim instructor and competitive swim coach for more than 4 years. Megan found her passion for swimming when she joined her neighborhood swim club at an early age. She continued to swim in middle school and made the Mason Manta Rays, a Gold Medal Swim Club in Mason, Ohio. In 2021, she decided to stop swimming and pursue her love of coaching. She was a volunteer coach with the Manta Rays, coaching the Warren County Special Olympics Team and working with multiple 10&Under age groups. She joined the staff officially in 2022. Megan has coached summer club teams to include Four Bridges Swim Club and Hy-Crest Swim Club. She is currently a student at BGSU and is an 8&Under coach for the Bowling Green Swim Club. Megan is currently available to teach lessons during the summer and school breaks in the Cincinnati area.
